Stories can take many forms and will vary depending on the occasion or need. A story might be told as a poem, in a song, as a shared memory, or as a speech. The occasion determines its tone and content; whether for a special event, your own enjoyment, as a keepsake, or for a particular person. For over fifteen years, I have written poetry (psalms), short stories, and prepared many speeches. More recently, I’ve worked on a novella and written lyrics for a variety of songs.
